What is Rise And Blossom ?

Created in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. A humanitarian charity, the fundamental aim of Rise And Blossom, is to improve the quality of life & the socio-cultural development of the physically disable population of the citizens it seeks to serve.

Rise And Blossom is an a-political association of social character & development. Of which the primary resolutions focus on repairing the social, political, educational, economical, cultural, health & environmental injustices faced by a significant proportion of the Congolese community. Rise And Blossom provides long-term solutions that aim to tackle the communities' systems of oppression, through implementation of programmes & practices that keep people trapped in economic downfall. Returning control, power and basic human rights, to those that matter most.

Through our alliances, networking & partnerships we hope to create cycles of sustainable self-sufficiency for the DRC most vulnerable citizens. Creating lasting and impactful change that meets the needs of the vast many, we desire to provide the freedom for future generations to expand beyond the necessity for under-resourced essentials, but to be able to Rise And Blossom into a brighter tomorrow!

Our Mission

RAB promises to be an agent of long-lasting change, in its uphill fight against poverty, ill-health, and the ignorance that strips the citizens of this nation's humanity. We recognise that in order to do so a central aspect of our organisation is being able to provide free & accessible resources, to all DRC’s citizens, regardless of social & economical statuses in the hopes of fostering a spirit of tolerance, community & harmony in a divided Democratic Republic of Congo.

Within RAB there are what we have identified as the core purpose, these are composed of goals that as collective we believe are the foundations upon which the very fabric of what Rise And Blossom stands for is built upon. These goals guide all of our actions, govern how our funds are used and provide us with a central compass point, to ensure that we constantly are held accountable to the very people that we seek to serve.
